Transfer to Stonewater
Earlier in the year we wrote to all of Mount Green’s customers to share proposals to formally merge Mount Green and Stonewater in a process known as a Transfer of Engagements, and to ask for feedback on these proposals.
The consultation finished over the summer, and Mount Green’s Board have now agreed to the proposals. This means that the ownership and management of your home has now been transferred from Mount Green Housing Association Limited (Mount Green) to Stonewater Limited (Stonewater), with the transfer completed on 30 September 2026.
We’re writing to customers to share the outcome, and there are no other changes to your tenancy or lease agreement, and services will continue to be provided by colleagues who are based locally.
As services are now delivered directly by Stonewater, we’ll soon be closing down the Mount Green website.
