Get involved

Your opinion really matters to us. Find out how you can shape the way we do things.

Here at Mount Green, we aim to build relationships with residents by listening to feedback, ensuring we act upon it when planning and delivering our services, and creating opportunities to get know our residents better.

Find out more about the different ways to get involved below. For any questions on getting involved, email getinvolved@mountgreen.org.uk

Resident Forum

The Resident Forum is a group of Mount Green residents who play an active role in improving the services we provide. Members help review how we’re doing and hold us to account on the things that matter most to residents.

The Forum meets quarterly and works closely with a member of our Performance & Quality Group – a staff group made up of managers from across Mount Green. This helps to ensure a strong link between residents and our operational teams.

The Forum also helps to provide assurance to Mount Green’s Board that the resident voice is at the heart of how we deliver services – by constructively challenging what we do and making sure resident feedback is acted on.

If you care about making sure services are working for everyone and want to help influence positive change, the Resident Forum could be a great opportunity to get involved.

To express interest in the Resident Forum, email us at getinvolved@mountgreen.org.uk

Neighbourhood Reps

We recognise the importance of having a presence across all our neighbourhoods, especially in our largest estates and independent living schemes.

Neighbourhood Reps help to represent their community and act as an important link between residents and Mount Green.

This is a voluntary role, and includes responsibilities such as speaking with your neighbours and feeding back opinions, reporting communal repairs, providing feedback on our contractors’ work, and attending in-person meetings.

If you’re passionate about making a positive impact in your area, learn more about the role on our information page.

Stonewater’s engagement groups

As a member of the Stonewater group, residents also have the option to get involved with engagement activities that contribute to the wider group.

If you’re interested in getting involved with any of Stonewater’s engagement groups below or have any questions, email getinvolved@mountgreen.org.uk

Stonewater’s online disability inclusion groups are a place for residents with a disability, impairment or long-term health condition and their families to give feedback on our services in a flexible way. You’ll get to offer feedback on whether proposed service changes and improvements meet the varied needs of residents – shaped by your lived experience.

This particular board is made up of residents who are aged 55 and over, and Stonewater colleagues. The group meets quarterly online and explores how the group can support residents to stay active, independent, happy and connected to their communities.

In addition to the board, there is also an Ageing Well Network, an online group that supports the work of our Ageing Well Board.

Do you have an eye for detail and love analysing data? Or have an interest in learning more about the Housing Ombudsman and the Regulator of Social Housing?

The Complaints Learning Group meets with Stonewater’s Customer Relations Team to review complaints data, see how the group has been performing when it comes to complaints, and hear what residents are saying about the services they are receiving. As a group, you’ll use all this information to make objective recommendations on any improvements.

If you enjoy making detailed notes, why not put yourself forward as a mystery shopper?

Mystery shoppers help to improve services across the group by making everyday enquiries with our helpful teams and making sure we give great customer service and useful and correct information.
