When is my rent due?
If you have a monthly tenancy with us, your rent is due on the 1st of each month. If you have a weekly tenancy with us, your rent is due every Monday. Your rent is always due in advance.
How to pay your rent
The easiest way to pay your rent is using the MyHome resident portal. You will need your new Stonewater tenancy number from the letter you have recently received.
If you are having trouble accessing My Home, please call Customer Services on 01372 379555.
A Direct Debit is an automated payment taken on a date agreed with you. To set up a Direct Debit, please call Customer Services on 01372 379555.
Use your Allpay card at any PayPoint outlet, Credit Union or Post Office in the UK. Simply hand your Allpay card to the cashier together with your cash, cheque or debit card to pay your rent.
You can make your payment online direct to our payment provider Allpay by:
- Downloading the allpayments app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Using the allpayments web portal: https://new.allpayments.net/
- Calling the 24-hour automated phone line – 0330 041 6497
If you’re using Allpay, just have your payment reference number to hand. If you don’t know what that is, contact us and we can tell you.
Changes to the allpay app and web portal
The Allpay app and web portal changed on 11 May 2026. If you’re still using the old app or portal, you won’t be able to make a payment. A new, separate app, is now available from the Apple App Store or Google Play store and you can find the new web portal here. If you already have an account, you can log in using your existing allpay login username and password. Once signed in, your account details will transfer automatically.
If you need any support moving to allpayments from the old app or portal, you can visit the allpay customer help centre.
If you would rather text, you’ll need to register your details.
If you wish to make a one-off payment over the phone, please call Customer Services on 01372 379555.
Struggling to pay your rent?
If you are struggling to pay your rent, it’s important that you contact the income team at Stonewater as soon as possible.
Our rent and income service is provided by our partners at Stonewater who will take a fair and proactive approach to recovering rent arrears.
The team are there to listen to your situation, and may be able to refer you to specialist support or help you to access benefits.
Ignoring rent arrears will not help and may put you at risk of losing your home. That’s why it’s important that you let us know if there are any problems, so we can work with you.
Contacting you about your rent
We focus on getting in touch as soon as possible when customers fall into rent debt so we can offer the best support.
We’re introducing a new way to contact customers about their rent accounts. If you get an automated call or text from 01202 139291 (or the existing number 01202 618894), please be assured that it is safe and is from Stonewater.
These numbers are a non-reply messaging service that we’re using to contact customers who may need support with their payments or Universal Credit Verification.
If you get a call or text from either 01202 13929 or 01202 618894, do take the call and when asked, press 1, which is a freephone number so you won’t be charged.
A call or text from 01202 139291 means you’ll be put straight through to an income officer who will be able to talk to you confidentially about your Stonewater rent account and offer support.
