Bill joined Mount Green as the Chief Executive in December 2019. He was previously Managing Director of Wokingham Borough Council’s local housing companies, which included Loddon Homes, a For-Profit Registered Provider (FPRP). Prior to this, Bill headed up Grainger plc’s FPRP, where he led Grainger’s first moves into affordable housing. His career has included senior roles in both Housing Associations and Councils, as well as working for the Audit Commission’s Housing Inspectorate. Working for the Audit Commission shaped much of his thinking and belief about how social housing should operate. When combined with having started in housing as a Homelessness Officer back in 1991, these two combined periods of time in his career drive much of his approach to leading Mount Green and ensuring we are able to provide the best homes and services possible for our residents.
Alison Joined Mount Green in 2016 as Finance & Resources Director looking after Finance, IT, HR and other central functions. Alison specialises in delivering business change and efficiencies with an emphasis on employee satisfaction. She has been working in housing finance since 2009, prior to this she had several years of experience in the commercial sector, ranging from media to commercial property. She has also served as a non-executive Director on other housing boards.
Samantha joined Mount Green in September 2016. Samantha has 15 years’ working experience in the housing sector. She was at Circle Housing for ten years where she had responsibility for managing around 3,000 homes and a Neighbourhood Team of over 85 staff. Samantha’s previous role was with Peabody. Samantha was a member of Optivo’s Board between 2010 and 2019.
Melanie joined Mount Green in March 2020 as Interim Director of Digital Transformation overseeing IT-enabled business change and the IT Team. With over 20 years of experience in local government, charities, NHS, private sector and housing associations, her previous roles have covered system change, digital enablement and customer channel re-engineering, marketing strategy development and cost/quality/productivity improvement.
Andrew joined Mount Green in February 2020 and is responsible for the maintenance and safety of our homes.
After initially beginning his career as a carpenter, Andrew has over 40 years’ experience in construction and has worked in various senior roles in related organisations within the private sector. He joined Hounslow Homes in 2009 and worked as client lead for the repairs service. He moved to Kingston upon Thames in 2012 where he was Group Manager for Housing repairs and Maintenance.
Andrew has a passion for developing people and making residents the focal point of his work. Away from his desk he is a big cricket fan and finds great enjoyment coaching young people to play cricket.
