Bill Flood

Chief Executive

Bill joined Mount Green as the Chief Executive in December 2019. He was previously Managing Director of Wokingham Borough Council’s local housing companies, which included Loddon Homes, a For-Profit Registered Provider (FPRP). Prior to this, Bill headed up Grainger plc’s FPRP, where he led Grainger’s first moves into affordable housing. His career has included senior roles in both Housing Associations and Councils, as well as working for the Audit Commission’s Housing Inspectorate. Working for the Audit Commission shaped much of his thinking and belief about how social housing should operate. When combined with having started in housing as a Homelessness Officer back in 1991, these two combined periods of time in his career drive much of his approach to leading Mount Green and ensuring we are able to provide the best homes and services possible for our residents.

Alison Robson-Young

Director of Finance and Resources

Alison joined Mount Green in 2016 as Director of Finance and Resources looking after Finance, IT, HR and other central functions. Alison specialises in delivering business change and efficiencies with an emphasis on employee satisfaction. She has been working in housing finance since 2009, prior to this she had several years of experience in the commercial sector, ranging from media to commercial property. She has also served as a non-executive director on other housing boards.

Robert Mills

Director of Business Operations

Rob joined Mount Green in May 2022, and has overall responsibility for housing, repairs and development.

Rob has worked in social housing for over 25 years, most recently as Director of Customer Services (South) at Accent Housing.  Originally starting as a project officer in a homeless hostel, Rob has also worked for Elmbridge Borough Council, Orbit and Guinness.  Whilst at Guinness, as well as working on the housing side, he also worked for Guinness Care & Support, overseeing their registered care services nationally.

Rob is currently a trustee and Vice Chair of Walton Charity, a local charitable foundation supporting people in Elmbridge who are experiencing financial hardship.  He is also a trustee of Charityworks, a national graduate
trainee programme for the non-profit sector.

Hannah Hu

Assistant Director of Finance

Hannah Hu joined the team in March 2019 and worked her way up to Assistant Director of Finance in Mount Green. Being a FCCA, she has strong technical accounting knowledge and skills, and experience both in financial and management accounts.

As Assistant Director of Finance, she assists and supports our Director of Finance and Resource in maintaining control over income, expenses and assets and liabilities of Mount Green.

Enjoying working alongside with great people, her another favourite thing about working at Mount Green is core social housing values and employer investment on people.
