Mount Green resident, Phillipa Hook, was the lucky winner of our Facebook Christmas tree competition, which was organised in partnership with our gardening contractors, Groundscapes.
Phillipa not only won a beautiful real tree, but she also received some brand new decorations, lights and a stand to help make her tree look festive in time for Christmas.
The tree was delivered to Phillipa and her family on the 6th December by Groundscapes.
“Thank you so much to everyone at Mount Green and Groundscapes – I’ve been having to use my Mum’s Christmas tree and now I’ve got my own, I’ll be able to give it back to Mum and we can have so much fun decorating!”
Christine Wytiahlowsky, Housing Services Manager, said: “We were so happy to be able to provide Phillipa with her very own Christmas tree, in time for the big day. This time of year can be a busy and stressful time for lots of people, so we’re happy that Phillipa will have one less thing to organise this Christmas”.
