Rent and Service Charge: FAQs

Rent and service charges for all Mount Green properties are reviewed in April of each year. Therefore, over the coming weeks, you will receive a letter advising you of any changes to your rent and service charges and explain the reason for these changes. It is important to ensure you pay the correct charges from April. If you currently pay by Direct Debit you do not need to do anything, this will be changed to the new amount on your behalf. If you use any other method of payment, please ensure you change the amount you pay. If you are in receipt of Universal Credit, please update your journal with your new charges without delay and if you receive any other help toward your housing costs, please notify the Local Authority.
