Mount Green & Stripey Stork deliver gifts to 93 children
This Christmas, Mount Green is delighted to continue its partnership with Truly Giving and Stripey Stork, bringing festive joy by delivering gifts to 93 children across 46 families living in Mount Green communities.
That’s a significant increase from the number of presents delivered in 2024 and a powerful reminder that no child should have to go without at Christmas.
For the fourth consecutive year, Mount Green has joined forces with Stripey Stork for its Santa Stork campaign, to ensure that families who may be struggling financially are able to still give their children a magical Christmas. This year, thanks to our collaboration with Truly Giving, we have referred 93 children to the scheme – more than ever before, compared to 31 families in 2024 and 44 families in 2023.
We provided Stripey Stork and Truly Giving with details like the children’s ages and interests to ensure every gift is carefully matched – whether it’s sports, arts, books, or play – to bring real delight on Christmas morning. This personalisation makes the experience even more special for residents and for the donors.
We know that for many people, the festive season can be a source of worry, particularly for families trying to make ends meet. By providing thoughtful gifts, we’re helping to ease that burden. A resident that received gifts last year for their children said:
“Thank you so much for your visit today and for all the presents you brought to my children. They were very much appreciated, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Very thoughtful choices and will really cheer up our Christmas break.
Merry Christmas to you and to everybody at Mount Green.”
