Mount Green has welcomed Marcus Canning as Director, building upon the successful partnership with Stonewater initiated by former Managing Director Bill Flood.
Bill, who joined Mount Green in 2019, prioritised resident needs and recognised the strategic value of the Stonewater partnership in enhancing service delivery and financial sustainability.
Marcus brings extensive housing sector experience, including leadership roles at Stonewater, and has a proven track record of success. He led Greenoak Housing Association through its transition into the Stonewater Group, demonstrating the value of collaborative partnerships.

Marcus is committed to fostering Mount Green’s growth while maintaining its core values of excellent, locally focused housing services. He will prioritise enhancing customer experience, including expanding the direct labour organisation.
The Stonewater partnership will support Mount Green’s growth, enabling it to increase the number of homes managed from 1,600 to 5,000 while leveraging Stonewater’s resources and expertise.
Marcus also emphasised the importance of meeting sector challenges, including Decent Homes standards and net zero targets, through innovation and collaboration.
