Resident engagement is hugely important to us. As set out in our resident engagement strategy, we want to create as many opportunities as possible for residents to get involved and use their voices to shape and enhance the services Mount Green provides.
Earlier this year, we relaunched our Neighbourhood Rep programme (previously known as Estate Reps), calling on volunteers who want to make an impact in their local area to get involved by representing the opinions of their neighbours. Neighbourhood Reps ensure we have a presence across the communities we serve, while acting as an important link between residents and Mount Green.
As a member of the Stonewater Group, residents now have the opportunity to shape Mount Green’s services at a local level or as part of the wider group. Through the partnership, residents can now contribute to Stonewater’s:
- Online Disability Inclusion Groups
- Ageing Well Board
- Complaints Learning Group
- Mystery Shopping
In addition to ensuring the voice of residents is reflected in everything we do locally and as part of the Stonewater Group, volunteering will allow you to use and even learn more skills that will benefit you personally and professionally. So why not get involved?
