This week, Surrey Police are celebrating the work they do as a force in collaboration with partners like us to tackle anti-social behaviour (ASB), which has a huge impact on the lives of individuals and our local communities.
Due to popular demand, we'll be back this year with our summer roadshows. Last year you told us that you'd rather we held them on a Saturday - so we've listened and we will be at the following estates on Saturdays in Setpember:
Saturday 7th September - Fir Tree Walk estate, Reigate
Saturday 14th September - Graylands estate, Woking
Please save the date! All Mount Green residents are invited to join us at these estates on either date, whether you are a resident there or at another Mount Green property.
Don't miss our latest issue of With You, our residents' magazine, giving you all the latest information and news you need to know! This summer's issue sees a very important announcement from our CEO, Nick Ronald, as well as an update from our Repairs Team and lots of ideas of free things to do this summer with your family and friends.
Energy Angels has been working with registered social landlords to provide void property energy management and tenant switching services since 2009. They have helped over 50,000 households save an estimated £7,500,000 on their gas and electricity bills, making tenancies more sustainable.
Energy Angels has created a special energy comparison tool especially for Mount Green tenants so you can find out if you could save on your gas and electricity bills. Take a look at this free service here.
Mount Green’s Development Team led a tour around some of our brand new properties at Cherry Tree Lane in Ewhurst, comprising a mix of shared ownership and affordable rent homes. Representatives and councillors from Waverley Borough Council were in attendance, along with newly elected Mayor, Councillor Mary Foryszewski. The stunning development has been built by Millwood Designer Homes and will be ready for occupation mid July 2019.
Mount Green is passionate about ensuring you, our residents, have a safe environment to live in. As a result, we are introducing new ways of managing fire safety in the communal areas of our properties.
This week we are celebrating Rural Housing Week by taking our local Parish Councillors along with Guildford Borough Council on a tour of some of our lovely rural housing stock.
Rural Housing Week aims to celebrate successful developments that offer a lifeline to local people in market towns and villages, and to reinforce the message that housing is vital for the survival of rural communities and services.
