Mount Green has up to 2 resident Board member posts ensuring residents are an integral part of our decision making process; this allows residents to truly lead Mount Green’s strategic vision and priorities. Support and training for these positions are provided. If you are interested in becoming a Board member, please register your interest by contacting us on 01372 379 555 and we will get in touch with you when vacancies become available.
The Scrutiny Panel check that services are being delivered to our agreed standards and challenge us where this is not happening. The Scrutiny Panel have a key role in influencing the work that we do at Mount Green and they have conducted crucial reviews on many elements of our services which have been a key driver for change and improvements. Their work has included reviews of our estate services, our customer service standards, the website and voids procedure. The 101 Club is a group of residents who help shape and improve our services, improve communication and develop and review our policies through consultation. This is done in variety of ways depending on your interests and preferred communication options and can include activities such as:
- Focus groups
- Website polls
- Email/phone surveys
- Mystery shopping
We would love to have as much feedback as possible and therefore we will do what we can to make it easy for you to dip in and out of opportunities as you wish and to fit in with your other commitments! We want to ensure that whenever we review an element of our service or a policy, we take your views into account and we keep residents at the heart of what we do. We often have a number of opportunities to consult with you on areas of our service which are currently under review. To see our current consultation opportunities, please click here.
We provide a programme of resident involvement at a local level to suit the individual needs of our communities. This may include some or all of the following:
- Neighbourhood surgeries
- Neighbourhood events
- Neighbourhood meetings
- Estate inspections
If you have any other ideas for local activities, please speak to your Neighbourhood or Scheme Manager. We will advertise any opportunities within your local community and following any activity, we will provide feedback to all residents outlining actions and outcomes.
If you do not want to be formally involved, you can still be involved with shaping Mount Green’s services. There are many ways to get involved including:
- Visiting our website
- Taking part in surveys and consultation
- Making complaints when we get things wrong
- Letting us know when we do things right
- Through day to day contact with our staff
