Mount Green is passionate about ensuring you, our residents, have a safe environment to live in. As a result, we are introducing new ways of managing fire safety in the communal areas of our properties.

Mount Green operates a zero tolerance to storing personal items in the communal areas. This is to reduce the risk of fire and to ensure that fire escape routes are kept clear. We have recently trialled these new ways of working at three estates, which were identified as requiring immediate attention through our Fire Risk Assessments. There has been a positive response to these trials, and they have helped us fine tune our policy, which is now ready to launch. The new policy and procedure can be found here.

From Monday 8th July 2019, any items found in your communal areas will be stickered. Once stickered, you will have seven days to remove the item/s. Any items that have not been removed after the seven day notice period will then be removed and disposed of by Mount Green. Please note: You will be recharged for any items needing clearing, so please ensure these item/s are removed within the seven day time frame to avoid these extra charges.

Our contractor D L Southern will be collecting items on our behalf. However, if you have any questions on this new way of working, you should contact Mount Green directly.

We hope that all our residents will work with us to ensure your homes are as safe and secure as possible.  Please contact our Customer Services Team on 01372 379555 should you have any further queries.
